I’ve been debating with myself for months if I should invest in a new camera lens. I bought my 50mm 1.4 in December while I was still shooting with a Rebel  (before I got my crackawacking amazing 5D III from Santa) and OMG I fell in L O V E. I started shooting other people than just my kiddos in early spring and I’ve been more than happy with my beloved 50mm BUT I felt I needed something a liiitle bit better. I was going back and forth trying to decide what to get and if it would be worth spending xxxx dollars on it. So, after searching high and low. Googling all kinds of things I finally decided to bite the bullet and ordered myself a Canon 35mm 1.4.

I got it in the mail yesterday and of course I had to take her out for a test run. Aaahhh (-angles singing-)!! Lens Love! You can definitely tell this beauty gives you brighter, crisper colors and OMG the sunflairs! I love to shoot backlit photos and that has been a little hard with the 50mm, I find the pictures easily get overexposed and washed out. I cant wait to play around a little more with my new found friend 🙂
