1.) You are so good at documenting your kid’s childhood. How about your motherhood?
You have 5000 images of your kid on your phone.. they will have memories of their childhood to look back at with so much joy thanks to you. But, what about YOU. You were there too right!? You are the one wiping their noses when they are sick, kissing their head when they are sad and the one who snuggles them up in your arms when they are happy.

2.) Don’t wait for yourself to loose the baby weight, your hair to grow out, to be more tan or something else silly.
When looking back at pictures of your own mother and You. You don’t look at her cellulite or un-done-nails. Going trough old photo albums bring back happy memories. The smell of your moms favorite perfume and the way she smiled at you when she was pushing you on the swing. Don’t you want your kids to have that of you?

3.) You are your sons first love and your daughters biggest inspiration.
You are the woman every other woman is going to have to compete with in your sons life and the one your daughters will aspire to be like.

4 .) Your kids are only young for so long.
Soon they’ll be off to college and you’re going to wish you would’ve let them sleep in your bed more often, said yes when they asked to lick the bowl when baking their birthday cake and encouraged their sense of fashion when dressing themselves all miss-matched before school. What are you going to do when you miss them.. bring out the CD with their pictures and stare at your computer screen!? No, all moms need a physical album they can flip trough to remember all the good childhood memories they shared with their children.

5.) I sure regret taking too many pictures of me and my kids!
Said NO mom ever!!
What You DO hear is: ‘Oh, I SO wish I would’ve taken more pictures with me and my kids’ ..
You can never ever get back this special time in Your (and your children’s) life’s.

So mom, get in the picture this year (NO mom, a phone selfie in the car doesn’t count!). Your children will be forever grateful You did.
