This is year 4 in my photography journey. I have learnt so much – mostly about myself. Photography is a creative outlet for my artistic soul. In school I got myself a graphic design degree before skipping over to beauty school where I decided I wanted to focus on creating with my hands. After spending some time working on models for shoots and fashion shows – I met my husband, headed over the Atlantic ocean and settled in sunny Los Angeles,CA in 2005.
The interest in photography has always been there. Playing around with different types of cameras over the years – both film and digital. Having kids definitely pushed me to challenging myself in the way I wanted my kids to remember their childhood when looking back at photo albums. I capture my family, my kids, my life in a fun, playful, creative way. Unposed and imperfect – just the way we are.
My heart beats for fiery sunsets, movement and pops of something unexpected.
I know I might not be the photographer for everyone. I don’t do fake cheesey-smiles.. instead we capture genuine moments, the real You. But I do know that my clients value the importance of a photograph. You’re not a cookie cutter family – and I’m not a cookie cutter Orange County Photographer.

And how about some overhead shots? Shooting from above can be tricky. Shoot wide (I love 24mm or 35mm for these). Stand over Your clients HEAD (not feet), hold Your camera up above with 2 steady hands, tilt it downwards and shoot away 🙂
and some cool sun-flares.. because.. you know, they’re magical and make me smile 🙂
