Wow, where do I even start. Being there to document a birth with photography was the most incredible
and surreal experience. And what made it even better is that mom is one of my best friends 🙂
Her due date was actually on my birthday and it was our standing joke to not go into labor on that
day because I was going in a date night.. AND also not the following day because me and my
hubby were heading to the spa 😉
Well, I didn’t make it to the spa 🙂 Instead I rushed to the Beach Cities Midwifery birth
center just 30 minutes before baby Ivy made her entrance into the world. It was peaceful
and calm and nothing but magical.
